John Petraglia is a Napa poet, writer, editor and former environmental communications professional with more than 30 years writing and editing experience.
He is the author of the newly published Featherstorm, a children’s holiday picture book (available online at Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Powells Books, and other book retailers). His Haiku chapbook: The Moon Has No Light of Its Own was published in 2022.
He is a former Board Member of Napa Valley Writers, Managing Editor of the NVW 2023 Anthology Opus IV, and Poetry Editor of the NVW Anthology Third Harvest 2021.
His poems have appeared in the Wild Umbrella, Thema, Inscribe, Meritage, Opus IV, Third Harvest and the California Literary Review. He was a literary docent at Robinson Jeffers’ Tor House in Carmel, CA. Originally from NY, his poems explore the human condition and the natural world.
