John  Petraglia is a Napa poet, writer, editor, and former environmental communications professional with 30 years of writing and editing experience. He is the author of Featherstorm, a heartwarming children’s holiday picture book, and the haiku chapbook The Moon Has No Light of Its Own.

John is a former board member of Napa Valley Writers, and has served as Managing Editor and Poetry Editor for several  anthologies .​ His poems have appeared in Wild Umbrella, Thema, Inscribe, California Literary Review and other publications. Originally from New York, his books and poems explore the human condition the wonder of the natural world.​​
